The Gild - new for 2019
START YOUR WEEK OFF INSPIRED & READY TO ROLL EVERY WEEK
After many, many, many discussions with our fellow creative and wellness small business owners we discovered that many of you are already working from home, in coffee shops, in your studios or in other office spaces. You were feeling settled into your spaces, especially if you had a area full of all of your painting supplies, or all your reference books. You also loved the energies of coffee shops. So then what was missing? People, Direction and Balance! What was missing was other creative entrepreneurs who are also learning how to do it all on their own: how to sell their paintings, how to edit their photos, how to price and sell their products, how to be more efficient, how to build a retreat, how to juggle your new business with family obligations, how to continue to be inspired, how to achieve work/life balance, etc... People you could talk to, learn from, and collaborate with. Enter, The Gild!
We know you feel lonely working your butt off trying to build your business, and we also know you don't always feel like dressing up to attend Networking events. This is the perfect chance to be part of a community of like-minded entrepreneurs in your own way. And you know what? We won't even judge if you show up in your sweats or mismatched socks. Come as you are. All humans are welcome.
We are passionate about helping our Doing-It-All-Yourself entrepreneurs and small business owners by giving them the skills and support they need to continue doing it all themselves, but with more focus and clarity, while driving more business and maintaining a work/life balance and inspiring creativity.
You CAN DO IT! You are a rock star!
The purpose behind The Gild is to have a constant, reliable, enthusiastic community who is in it to win it. We hope this group becomes like a family for you and that we can all grow together whether you are participating in-person or online. So if you are ready to commit to a YEAR of growth and amazing-ness, you're in the right place! Having a community within which to work helps create structures and discipline which is motivating. Too much autonomy can cripple productivity because people lack routines. Our creative community allows members to adopt an environment inclusive of invigorating thoughts while executing their work, feeling supported and inspired while still being held accountable, and gaining a broader network and skill set through community. We exercise inclusivity at Anahata Collaborative so The Gild and The Academy is open to all humans. You CAN DO IT! You are a rock star!
We have put all our blood, sweat and tears into creating membership optsion for 2019 which will not only give you a chance to meet some like-minded creatives on the regular, but is PACKED with opportunities to grow your business, discover work/life balance and BE YOU in all the best ways. We have focused on the 4 pillars of Anahata Collaborative: Business, Creativity, Wellbeing and Doing Good.
We will meet the first three Mondays of each month at noon to discuss our businesses, listen to guest speakers, collaborate with other members. Why Mondays? Great question. We chose Mondays for a reason. Just one day a week for you to start each week off on the right foot. This way you can gather motivation, inspiration, actionable goals to carry out through the rest of the week. Then the following Monday, you do it all over again to carry you through the next week. We want these Mondays to be an integral part of your week. We do understand that sometimes things come up and you won’t be able to attend EVERY Monday. It’s ok. All we can say is try your best to attend as many as possible. You will also have the Academy Online and the Private Facebook Group to keep you accountable and moving forward each month.
First Monday of the month will focus on BUSINESS
Second Monday of the month will focus on WELLBEING
Third Monday of the month will focus on CREATIVITY
Why aren’t all three Mondays focused on Business? It’s called burn out. We want you to actually succeed instead of overwhelming you and causing burn out. What do you think the #1 reason is that solopreneurs end up giving up? Amazingly it’s not lack of funds. It’s mental health. You will have an entire month from one Business Monday to the next Business Monday allowing you time to incorporate what you have learned into your business in a less stressful way. The second Monday we will discuss your wellbeing and mental health specifically, giving you tips and tricks you can incorporate throughout the month. The third Monday of the month is exercising your creativity. We will have fun, creative workshops to learn a new creative skill. Quite simply: Art Heals. Not only will it benefit your mental health, but it will also inspire creativity. Not to mention you get to learn something cool! ALL THREE WEEKS are important!
The Gild launches at Anahata Collaborative on February 5th and runs through November. You can join at any time during the month and your first rate will be pro-rated. All future months will be billed on the 1st of the month. You can join at any time during the year, but you will not be able to access any previous workshops of The Gild. For best results, we HIGHLY recommend you start in February.
